    Internet Insurance Leads
It is a fact that more and more people everyday use the Internet to get insurance coverage. The number of online customers is massive compared to “traditional” business, and it is increasing day after day. However, as the online market grows, the number of “garbage” leads increases accordingly; there is a huge amount of price-shoppers out there that cares more about getting a cheap policy than about getting a good one. And paying attention to such requests is not only a waste of time, but also a waste of money. That is why you should ge
I happen to watch discovery channel yesterday night, it was a documentary about life in the North Pole and something just came into my mind when........

I saw those big chunks of floating ice drift somewhere in the sea near North Pole.

Would the Titanic have hit the iceberg and sank if they had radar?

Of course not! That will not happen.

But radar was not invented back in 1912.

High-tech equipment such as infrared technology, sonar, global positioning systems and radar were still many years away from invention.

Sailors used binoculars to see what was in front of them. Yet no one in the crows nest of the Titanic on the night they hit the iceberg had binoculars!

High up in the crows nest of the forward mast on the Titanic, a lookout called Fredrick Fleet strained his eyes in the darkness for any unwanted ice that might be in the path of the great liner. The icebergs in the North Atlantic originated from glaciers too.

I know this is hard to believe, but Fredrick Fleet did not have binoculars with him in the crows nest. They were left behind in Southampton.

The air was cold and the crisp on Sunday night April 14. The North Atlantic breeze was enhanced by the Titanic near flank speed and the icy wind stung the faces of Fredrick and his crew mate as they did the best they could to see what was in front of them with their naked eyes.

The sky was brilliantly speckled with more stars than your mind could comprehend the water as calm and still as a pond; it was unusually calm for the North Atlantic in April. There was no moon out that night to illuminate what was ahead.

Peering straight ahead into the darkness, Fredrick squinted to see if he could identify the large dark mass that was quickly growing in size as the liner made way ahead. "My God!" he said, while reaching over to grab the pull cord on the ship's bell mounted

Here Are Some Tips On Home Remodeling And How To Deal With Contractors
You will recoup much of your remodel dollars when you sell. Real estate is an investment that will almost always be sold and passed on to someone else at some point in time. You may want to temper your own personal taste at times to make sure your remodel is palatable to other people. In other words, if you are into oak, a wood that is out of fashion right now, don't over use it. If you are into dramatic mod graphically black and white design, something that is considered chic right now, you may want to mellow out the contrast a bit. If you

Resume Considerations for Working with the TSA or DHS
The United States Government must protect the American People and it is hiring people for Airport Security and Department of Homeland Security like never before. What are they looking for? Well they are looking for some understanding of security and if you have a criminal justice degree or even a two-year college degree with some law classes, criminal justice classes or security classes you may be surprised how easy it is to get hired. Many people do not realize that the FBI is even hiring people who have smoked pot and therefore you m

on the mast, Fredrick gave it the traditional 3 rings indicating an object sighted.

He grabbed the crows nest phone to hear the voice of the ship's officer below in the bridge.

"What did you see?" asked the anxious voice.

"Iceberg right ahead!" was Fredrick's reply.

The officer quickly acknowledged with a "Thank you," and the phone was hung up.

And the rest was history. The Titanic would strike the ice berg and sink 400 miles off the Grand Banks, New Foundland.

After the Titanic disaster, Fredrick worked for a short time on another ship. Unfortunately, the White Star Line looked at former Titanic crew members

working on vessels as both an embarrassment to the company and as a "bad omen" in the eyes of the passengers.

Fredrick worked various positions for other shipping lines and left the sea in 1936. He worked as a shipbuilder during World War II and then a night watchman. In his later years, he sold newspapers on a street corner in Southampton.

After a series of personal problems; the recent loss of his wife, eviction from his home by his brother-in-law, Fredrick Fleet, the first man on Titanic to spot the iceberg and warn the bridge, hung himself on a clothes line in his backyard in 1965.

How history would have been changed if only Fredrick had radar or an infra red binoculars that night.

Instead of newspaper headlines reading "1517 lives lost as Titanic sinks" Frederick Fleet could have been a hero and averted disaster.

While there were many contributing factors to one of the greatest disasters at sea, the story could have ended better had radars been available.

What great things could have been accomplished by any number of the people lost? Would have, could have, and should have.

What about you and your business?

Are you using or ignoring the technology that can mean the difference between victor
