Sreenwriting Course: What is FADE IN?
From our deconstructions of more than 100 Hollywood Blockbusters:Hero's JourneyThe Hero's Journey is the template upon which the vast majority of successful stories and Hollywood blockbusters are based upon. In fact, ALL of the Hollywood movies we have deconstructed are based on this template.Understanding this template is a priority for story or screenwriters. The Hero's Journey:a) Attempts to tap into unconscious expectations the audience has regarding what a story is and how it should be told.b)

Career Authenticity - Step 1 - Assess Your Physical Health
Feeling authentic at work can be a challenge when you hate your job and it feels like a perfectly wrong fit for you; but, you can begin to work more authentically when you practice listening to your body.Step 1 – Identify all of the things you do at work that feel counter to your authentic self. Can you name the feelings you associate with the tasks? Can you identify what is going on for you physically when you are doing or saying things that feel counter to your authentic self?I worked with one client who was a reporter. She
Whilst article writing is a recognised means of promoting a product or service, your article must remain on target or you are just wasting your time. This article gives a few pointers to make sure this staying on target happens!

As an article directory editor (amongst other things!) I find it interesting to watch the 'ebb and flow' of article content, usually dependent on what the likes of Clickbank have on their books as a 'hot property'. Not too long ago it was acne, then online dating became the rage. I await developments on the next Big Thing! This 'following the hot leads' type of reaction isn't a problem in itself but can lead to big problems indeed.

There are four main failings that I have observed when viewing the hundreds of submissions I have received. The first is trying to cover too wide a subject; the second is writing an article that has little or no relevance to the contents of the 'resource box', where the author can put their links for readers; the third is physical article length and the

    How To Boost Sales
We are all cluttered thinkers, our minds preoccupied with numerous thoughts, feelings, and unresolved information. You can see that clearly as you walk down any city street.Faces are contorted with angst, inner dialogues, and multilayered emotions. People even walk and move in an uncoordinated way.Examine your own thinking, and you’ll see that hidden agendas, conflicts, and internal upsets constantly interfere with the clarity of your logic. This is both an opportunity and an obstacle for salesmanship. It is an opp

How To Create A Free Website
Learning how to create a website is not rocket science! It's just like learning anything else in life, that is to say, that if we don't understand something, then it is totally alien to us.A website consists of several pages that are connected by clickable links. A web page is like a blank sheet of paper that you can write on and fill with your content. We can use web editors such as MS Frontpage and Macromedia DreamWeaver and the like to create our web pages. If you alraedy have MicroSoft Office, then Frontpage should norma

Networking, iNetworking, What Is The First Rule?
Networking on the Internet is the same as networking in person, or is it? Let’s take a conversational tour together on this topic. At an in-person networking event you wouldn't just attend not to network. Or would you? Normally everyone is there for a purpose, even if they haven't totally defined that purpose, they have a vague idea why they are there. Wouldn't that work the same for iNetworking? Yep.Yet...Weekly I receive emails and phone calls how someone wants to connect with me in some way.Yet...T

    Auto Title Loans
Lots of concern has spread in regard to auto title loans which are a loan backed by an auto title and possible an extra set of keys. It’s a convenient way for borrowers to get money fast without a line of credit, but the loans can carry an interest rate of up to 300% or more. Title lending is lesser-known when compared to payday loans or a high-cost mortgage. Title loans are also competition for the bank. As a matter of fact, the title loan industry booms in areas where no banks are located. So how do you go about balancing the weight of a fas
ubject; the second is writing an article that has little or no relevance to the contents of the 'resource box', where the author can put their links for readers; the third is physical article length and the fourth is relevance to the resource box. Let's look at these issues one at a time:

I regularly get articles that try to cover far, far too much ground than is possible in a 4,000 word magazine article, let alone a 700-word web article. Examples (fictitious) are things like 'A History Of The USA' or 'Everything You Need To Know About AdSense'. Promising titles, if they delivered! However, the reality is that any article could only scratch the surface of such huge subjects. The effect is that the reader is left disappointed and exasperated - 'another shallow bit of writing!' is the usual response.

An article written for the web should be informative and hold the reader's attention. To do this it should be relevant to the title, well written and contain at least some information not readily available to th
