Affiliates and the Importance of Backlinks
Backlinks are incoming links that point to your web page. If many other sites point to your website, it is assumed by search engine algorithms that these sites value the content or products on your site. Search engine rankings are positively affected by a large number of backlinks, as well as the quality of these links. There are two ways for a site to get a higher number of backlinks: Some bac
The Democratic Party is beholden to the nation's most self-serving special interests.

They proved this once again on Wednesday by voting in favor of HR800, a House bill to take away workers' right to a supervised private ballot when voting for or against union representation.

Needless to say, this would be the perfect intimidation tool for union bosses.

    What's In A Name?

In George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four, highlighting the degradation of the individual, by the totalitarian state, the Ministry of Truth had the 3 great slogans of the party carved into its building.

    1. WAR IS PEACE

    2. FREEDOM IS SLAVERY

    3. IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH.

In a Similar vein, this bill is called the Employee Free Choice Act.

This free choice would force workers to submit to a card check to openly sign or reject.

Is there any doubt as to the type of intimidation tactics that would be used and how difficult it might be to say no thank you or I'd like more time and information before deciding; to say nothing of the desire for that vote to be private.

Union reps, seeking the open signatures, you can be sure, would not be slender, mild mannered, polite, head-waiter types, showing their concern for workers' comfort and well being.

Union heavy handedness would be the order of the day to slow the steep decline in union membership.

In the private sector, union membership has declined from 35% in the 1950's to the present 7.4%.

Workers today, understand that unions sometimes obtain short-term benefits for workers; they know also, the fate of workers at Ford, General Motors, major airlines and scores of companies, resulting in joblessness, due to union excesses. Job losses in the tens of thousands and up, have been commonplace for years.

Email Marketing - Using an Autoresponder
Personalization is the most basic and one of the important parts of using autoresponders. Most of them allow you to insert the first, last, or full name of all members in your opt-in list when sending out emails. Always make sure to check the autoresponder features so that you know this feature is included. There is no standard among autoresponders that makes this feature mandatory so it is best to ch

    Ethics in Advertising
Making money and corrupting the morals of a minor at the same time is not my idea of ethical advertising. Recently a television ad depicted a small boy breaking a window so the owner's wife could upgrade to their own style of window. There were several messages inherent in this ad that bother me.First, it says that it is O.K. to destroy other people's property if the owner gets someone els

The New Bush Energy Tax Credit Can Save You Money on Taxes
To your credit, you've practiced energy conservation and just purchased energy efficient windows and insulation for your house. You can transform this into an energy tax credit on your income tax. This is a true tax credit not just a deduction, in other words you can take a reduction (credit) on your taxable income.President Bush's Energy Policy Act of 2005 was designed to encourage energy effi
ts for workers; they know also, the fate of workers at Ford, General Motors, major airlines and scores of companies, resulting in joblessness, due to union excesses. Job losses in the tens of thousands and up, have been commonplace for years.

Many union workers are also aware of their dues being used for purposes they strongly oppose. Unions for the most part ignore those wishes and continuously use the courts and union tactics to keep collecting money to give almost exclusively to Democrats.

During the last election period, organized labor gave close to $60 million dollars in direct contributions to Democrat candidates and tens of millions more for "get out the vote efforts."

It is Big Labor's right to do so, but the public must also be aware of what unions expect and often get in return, from Democrats.

The Democrat Party is willing to see workers' right to a secret ballot forfeited to pay back its union benefactors.

Most special interests of today's Democrats favor a few, at the expense of the national good; Big Labor, lawyers, trade protectionists, the welfare lobby among many others.

For the most part, these special interests restrict growth, and siphon off wealth created by others.

Most Republican special interests are those that support themselves, create wealth and pay the nation's bills.

And so recently the ultimate payoff took place. Democrats talk endlessly of their concern for working families and the middle class. In this case, when it came time to walk the walk, they voted against the right to a private vote for millions of middle class workers.
