One of the main reasons women don't respond very well to men is because those men have already given her the power before they approached. Why should she waste ANY more time with him because it's obvious he's too interested now and she can't trust him to be stable to ever open up to him?!

Quite ironic and confuses the heck out of most men especially because they have been taught to 'pursue' and 'show interest' in the women. This social power dynamic is the exact opposite of the natural dynamic.

It IS VERY ironic, yet that's often why these women are icy. And the women won't overrule the power of social programming and in a way, they don't have to despite it's great irony because they 'are' the response. Isn't it kind of hard not to acknowledge their beauty though isn't it? I mean they really ARE beautiful and desirable so it's kind of hard to 'get around' that point. Accepting they are doesn't really help either because it will make you more nervous.
