Where To Find Cheap Health Insurance
Health insurance costs are rising all the time. Many people feel they cannot afford health insurance. Others feel that they don’t need it because they are healthy and have never had any major medical problems. This is definitely faulty thinking on their part. As a matter of fact, you do need health insurance, and there are a lot of ways to get affordable health insurance for yourself or your family. Health insurance is protection against the possible health problems that could happen in the future, and you have absolutely no way of knowing what those might be.For people who are low income, every state has a Medicaid program that they could possible qualify for. The requirements vary form state to state, but all it takes is a trip to your local Division of Family Services office to get an application. You might be surprised at the number of people who would actually qualify for this service that don’t think that they would. You will need to fill out the application and provide some documentation about your finances. This program can cover the health insurance needs of the entire family, including dental work,

    Ask a Disaster Recovery Specialist
What would happen to your data if: you backed your SUV over your laptop? your laptop spent two days in a sunken cruise ship submerged at the bottom of the Amazon River? firefighters rescued your computer's scarred carcass from a flaming warehouse? Data recovery specialists restored the lost data in all of the above situations. Fire, flood, and road rage is all in a day's work for these knights of the byte.Michael Peltier is the Senior Data Recovery Engineer for Data Recovery and Reconstruction in Tucson, Arizona. He has stories to tell and suggestions to offer.About a Drive Unit But first, some background. Drive units contain read/write heads that transmit data to recording platters. The head flies above the platter, separated by a painfully thin cushion of air.Measured in microns, the thickness of a human fingerprint is many times higher than the head's flying height. If the head makes direct contact with the recording platter, particles are knocked off the head and the platter and are caught in the air cushion where they grind off the plat

Getting The Most From Business Cards
In order to get the most from your business card, you have to make sure that it stays around for a while; hopefully a long while. A card that has gone straight to the trash does you no good. Think of the poor baby you have worked so hard designing just laying there in the trash, waiting for incineration. Sort of makes you want to cry, doesn’t it? Okay, maybe that’s taking it a bit far. It is upsetting though. What can you do to prevent this card tragedy from happening to you? A number of things:• Paper quality. It must be high. Period.• Ink must not run. Place a drop of water on your card and see what happens• Size must be standard 3.5” x 2” inches. Larger ticks people off• Colour. This is a big deal. Anything over 3 colours is distracting (photographs exempt) and black and white is just boring. Find the middle ground and go with it• Message. Your business card should clearly tell people what you do. If it isn’t clear, you need to do some work and re-word it.• Font size. Font should be no smaller than 10 points; otherwise it’s too hard to read.Your ca

Pensions and Long Term Care - Why You Should Turn Again to Property
Most people have this plan in life – they work for a large (secure?) organisation, for 40 years or more, and then they feel that the organisation will repay their loyalty by providing them with quite a sizable top-up to their State pensions. How wrong can they be?Look at the chaos caused over the last few years on both sides of the Atlantic where companies have either illegally or by bankruptcy robbed hundreds of thousands of hard-working, loyal employees, their right to a comfortable retirement – Murdock and Equitable Life in the UK; Enron, IBM and now Delphi in the States are just the tip of the iceberg. (Will GM be next…?)Then there is another highly relevant issue – that of long term care. In the UK particularly, human rights for older people remains a very uncertain area, and unless you have money or very vociferous friends and relatives, you could become victim of bureaucratic activities. As reported in the Telegraph Money section in February this year, a couple who had lived together since the beginning of the Second World War ( 65 years of togetherness) found that when the husband had to

Why Payday Loans Should Only be Used in an Emergency
Payday loans are emergency, temporary, high interest loans which can be availed at short notice against the paycheck and employment history. It is meant for an unsecured, short-term, cash advance until next payday. Payday loans are helpful to cover small, unexpected expenses like medical emergencies etc while avoiding costly bounced-check fees and late payment penalties. These loans are approved much faster and require fewer papers. Even people with bad credit history can apply for it.Now, you can even apply online for Paydays loans and the loan will get credited to your bank account within 24 hours. Sometimes the lender may require a cheque from you which he will cash after the next pay comes if you are not planning to rollover. The fee charged will be either a percentage of the loan amount or affixed amounts like say $20 for all loans from $50 to $500. In case you roll over the loan, the fee will be added for every period say for every 15 days full fee will be added up. If you need to borrow a sum of $200 then you would have to write a cheque of $220 for a period of 2 weeks. The extra amount is the

The Franchising of Al Qaeda or Democracy; When will the World Choose
Most first-world nations of the world have denounced international terrorism and the nation states, which sponsor them and yet some of these nation-states still fund international terrorist groups to the tune of $100-$300,00,0000 per year. What is worse is that some nations refuse to honor trade embargoes and actually seek to do business with nations, which sponsor international terrorism.Further, in nations like Iran and Syria, they seem to be getting away with this. In Syria there are 10 international terrorist groups that are headquartered there. And we know Iran to be funding Hezbollah and other terrorist organizations. We also see Venezuela and other nations willfully going out of their way to do business with Iran.We need to franchise democracy around the world and not international terrorism. The franchising of Al Qaeda is not working and that organization is failing miserably, but they are not the only problem out there. We must see that other international terrorist groups fail to franchise their brand names also. We must also cut off the supply of money to international terrorist groups

I should know, I used to train them!

Now even though your "admissions rep" may be a really wonderful person, how can you possibly know the quality of the education you'll receive from a person telling you what they want you to hear.

This brings us to the 3 powerful, secret questions you *must* ask to find the truly exceptional school:

#1. How many modalities will you be able to *practice* upon graduation? (A modality is a style of massage)

Why is it so important to learn multiple modalities? If you only learn one style of massage, you will be working in the same way every day. If you do anything repetitively, you risk injury or burnout and with only one style of massage, believe me, you will get burned out! If you learn multiple styles you will enjoy massaging your clients for years!

Imagine if you were a hair stylist but were only taught how to cut one style of hair. Let's say a bowl-cut. Two things would happen. One, you would get very bored and two, not all of your clients would want that particular style. One style does not fit all.

The same goes for your massage therapy clients. Each of them will need different styles depending on who they are and what they need from their massage therapy session. Some will need the energizing effects of Shiatsu. Some will need the deeper work of Neuro-muscular therapy. Some clients may need the clearing work of polarity. Make sure the school you select offers multiple modalities!

Now here's another secret! A slick marketing trick that a number of schools use. Most schools offer only one type of massage training and little teaser intros on some other types during your education. They usually include these teasers in their brochures and presentations. You will probably think you learn all of those styles during your training but in reality, they do *not* teach you the other styles. You will only be qualified to practice *one* type of massage upon your graduation.

Remember, ask the school how many modalities you will be qualified to practice when you graduate!

#2. How does the school teach body mechanics, that is how will they teach you the techniques of massaging clients so you won't burn-out?

Did you know that over 100,000 new massage therapists have left the field in the last 4 years? Why? Simple answer. Because of burnout. They were not taught the proper way of using their bodies to massage their clients. Make sure the school you select can clearly explain to you how they'll teach you good b
