One mobile oil change operator tells me that in his city there are several competitors; “Pit Crew and Lube On Location have operations here.” Well, you can beat the Lube on Location folks if you want. Pit Crew if it is those high prices guys with their special oil blend don't worry, very professional looking, but we all know the realities of the consumer and what they will swallow.

Price does matter to some degree and you cannot get up too high or you have few referrals. Then there is Oil Butler and their little trailer units, they seem to do quite well as owner operators but are not often in the market for more than a few years or so.
