That is simply having good manners of behavior and good etiquette.
That is also a sense of giving you the recognition of being a human at an equal level, and hence falls closer to love than respecting someone for something.
Love treats you as an equal.
Respect discriminates.
Hence love is democratic whereas respect is a feudal phenomenon.
So the two cannot stay together.
