    The Art of Being Human
This isn't the first time I have written about the benefits of inserting a human voice or presence into your online communications. And I make no excuse for writing about this again.Site visitors crave the sense that someone is there, within and behind your Web pages, your emails and newsletters.Dealing with the bare technology of online interactions is a cold experience for many, or even most of us. It makes us feel anxious. Technology isn't warm. It has no heart. It neither understands us, nor cares for us.For many Web sites, whether for businesses or organizations, we simply plug in and play the bare technology - the super-duper means of information delivery. All the site visitor sees and feels is the design, the interface, the links and the clicks. The experience is about as warm and human as banking with an ATM machine. And then we

But making schedules at home can be a great way to make things less stressful for you, especially if you work outside the home and have far less time to cope with all the expectations that accompany family life.

The loan can be used to pay for the students? books, fees, travel and other supplies. It takes a fairly short time to apply and almost anyone can get the loan approved. The borrower also receives the loan in a short period of time. The US Department of Education controls the Stafford Loans and PLUS Loans, which are meant for the parents of the student. There are loan funds that come directly from the federal government, while some come from a bank, credit union, or other participating lender. One such loan sponsored by the federal government in the Stafford loan. It is a low cost student loan that helps students pay their college fees.. There are various benefits of Stafford Loans
Were you surprised to learn that you had ADD (attention deficit disorder) when you took your son or daughter to the doctor to find out why they had difficulty paying attention? You probably also learned that there is a 25 - 35% probability that if you have ADD, your child will too. Don't blame yourself! It's not your fault. It's just simple genetics that you have no control over, and if you take a negative attitude, it can depress you. On the other hand, you may have been relieved to finally have an answer to feelings you've had since childhood but could never put a finger on. Put any negativity out of your mind right now! Focus on your strengths and weaknesses, and in the process you'll probably lose your bad feelings. Taking positive action leads to having success with ADD, for both you and your child with ADD.

When you're married with a family, you may find that ADD tendencies make life stressful. American households have traditionally been the responsibility of the woman to organize, though things are changing. But when you're it, and you can't quite meet up to the societal pressures, feelings of guilt may also enter the picture. This whole scenario is compounded when you work outside your home.

You need some ADD-friendly ways to help you.

If you do well at work, but are a complete basket case when it comes to making things work at home, it's probably because there are schedules at work that go well with your ADD. But our homes usually don't have the same structures. Things just go along as they come up. But making schedules at home can be a great way to make things less stressful for you, especially if you work outside the home and have far less time to cope with all the expectations that accompany family life.

    Transitions, Transformation & Transcendence
It is fascinating to observe nature during this miraculous time of spring and re-birth. Buds that promise life are emerging from lifeless trees, mother robins nurture the nests that will produce new flight, and flowers are popping up out of nowhere, providing the long awaited color and fragrance of spring. And then there is the birth of a butterfly…"What the caterpillar calls the end of the world, the master calls the butterfly."-Richard Bach, American authorThe gestation period for this miraculous event from beginning to end, is approximately two weeks (Kathleen Pearce, Beautiful Painted Ladies). A female butterfly lays her egg, which contains a tiny caterpillar that immediately begins to grow. Following a steady diet of leaves and greens, the caterpillar finds a safe place to rest. And then, using the magical equipment built into its' tiny mouth, s

Understanding the Genetics of Gluten Sensitivity
All of us have patterns of proteins on the surface of our white blood cells. The proteins are known as human leukocyte antigens (HLA), one of which is DQ. Celiac Disease (CD) and non-Celiac gluten sensitivity (NCGS), and several autoimmune conditions occur more frequently with certain HLA DQ types. DQ gene testing is performed by analyzing cells from a blood sample or from a Q-tip swab of the mouth. HLA types have a naming system that can be confusing even to scientist and physicians but here is my explanation of the testing, the results, and what they may mean to you and your family. Each of us has two copies of HLA DQ. Because there are 9 serotypes of DQ we are all DQx/DQx where x is a number between 1 & 9. For example, I am DQ2/DQ7. I received the DQ2 from one of my parents and the DQ7 from the other. Because we get one DQ type from each of our parent

Sifting Thru the Fog to Find the Expert Writers of Our Time
The question at hand is - How can you determine if the author who wrote a particular article is an expert or not? And how on Earth can you go through 10 Billion web pages to find all the experts? Well in my estimation an online article submission site with over half-a-million articles and 50,000 or more article authors could indeed do this.Does this mean that they should apply to the Department of Defense, NSA, Google Research or the National Archives for a grant to do the research? Yes, I believe they should. What about the information overload at half-a-million articles or the massive amount of garbage on the Internet these days - ah, precisely why such a system to determine expert status is truly needed in my opinion.Yes, there is information overload, data smog or feature fatigue to consider in all of this and any online article submission site w

If You Want to Live a Good Healthy Lifestyle
If you want to live a good healthy lifestyle, one of the main components is eating right. Many people don’t realize just how easy it is to eat healthy. A healthy diet starts out with fresh fruits and vegetables and is part of a larger balanced diet which includes foods that are low in fat, cholesterol and unnecessary sugar. If you want to eat healthy, try to add a portion of fruits and vegetables to each meal you eat. It is actually a very easy task to manage. Yogurt for breakfast can easily include fresh fruits such as strawberries or cherries. If you enjoy cereal, add a bananna or some apples. If you are hungry for a snack, skip the candy bar and try a carrot, fresh melon or salad. During dinner time add green vegetables such as broccoli, green beans or spinach to your meal. Adding fresh fruits and vegetables is a great way to make sure you get

Household chores do not have to be your exclusive domain. Your partner should be responsible for some of the home chores, and if you have kids, depending on their ages, you may be able to delegate some of the chores to them, too. Around 5 years old, they should be able to do simple things like set the table. As the kids get older, delegate more complex chores like sorting the laundry. They can and should help out and take over some of the stuff you're expected to have done, but that's falling through the cracks. And don't think of it as pawning off your own responsibilities on your children. Though that's the benefit, the object should also be to teach them responsibility. If you include an allowance in exchange for the work they do, you'll also teach them the value of money. How great is that?

Then, decide what you're still totally responsible for handling, and schedule those tasks in. For instance, on Monday, do the vacuuming. On Tuesday, maybe it's the grocery store. Wednesday might be laundry day or whatever. Get some kind of planner that you always have access to, and write it all down or use some electronic version that will schedule repeat tasks automatically. But when you see all these things in writing, suddenly, they don't seem so daunting. Plus, you won't have to worry that you forgot to do something because it will be right there, in front of you.
