Five Steps to Planning a Great Year
Have you started setting goals for the New Year yet? It’s a busy time with the holidays, and it’s hard to think about making time in your schedule for one more thing. But, it’s important to take time to plan for success.Planning your year ahead of time gives you an idea of how much work you’ll need to do weekly, and it can show you where deadlines might cross, and where you might be over-extending yourself. When you have a plan, it actually makes it easier for you to say no to things that might take you off track, and, it will also be less tempting to waste time and money on things that might not be right for your business.rt. Looks Do Matter When It Comes To Attracting Women
The one topic that men will debate on for days instead of actually doing something about it is - how important your looks are when it comes to attracting women. Some people tend to think that your looks do mater when it comes to attracting women while other people think that they don't matter at all.The truth is your looks don't matter at all when compared to other men. However when you compare your looks with yourself, it matters a whole lot. What I mean by that is the fatter version of you will not attract as many woman as the more healthy and in-shape you.The poorly dressed you will not attract as ma
"Father, forgive them for they do not know what they are doing." (Luke 23:34a).

A number of years ago I went through a period of sheer hate. Then one day, after much prayer and examination of my own contribution, I realized that I was the one who needed the new heart. We can never know what is in the heart of another, but we can, through a very close union with the Man who forgave those who were nailing him to the cross, finally understand our own meanness and ask God to give us a new heart and mind. In the process of weeding out heart and mind, I jotted down some quotes that helped, and I’d like to share these:

•Whatever be the motive of insult, it is always best to overlook it; for folly scarcely can deserve resentment, and malice is punished by neglect. Johnson.

•Slight small injuries, and they'll become none at all. Fuller.

•Lay silently the injuries you receive upon the altar of oblivion. Hosea Ballou.

•If men wound you with injuries, meet them with patience; hasty words rankle the wound, soft language dresses it, forgiveness cures it, and oblivion takes away the scar. It is more noble by silence to avoid an injury than by argument to overcome it. J. Beaumont.

•One [person] pins me to the wall, while with another I walk among the stars. Emerson.

•Be prudent, and if you hear...some insult or threat...have the appearance of not hearing it. George Sand.

•That which cannot be repaired is not to be regretted. Johnson.

•They are the strong ones of the earth, the mighty food for good or evil,--those who know how to keep silence when it is a pain and a grief to them; those who give time to their own souls to wax strong against temptation, or to the powers of wrath to stamp upon them their withering passage. Emerson.

•The surest method against scandal is to live it down by perseverance in well-doing, and by prayer to God that He would cure the distempered mind of those who traduce and injure us. Boerhaave.

•The secret of language is the secret of sympathy, and its full charm is possible only to the gentle. Ruskin.

•But hushed be every thought that springs/From out the bitterness of things. Wordsworth.

•A fool's heart is in his tongue; but a wise man's tongue is in his heart. Quarles.

Music For Your Wedding - How To Choose What's Best For You
Music is an important part of the celebration of your marriage. Throughout history, music has been used for weddings to bring the community together with sounds and rhythms that have the power to surpass age and status buriers, uniting everyone in support of your marriage. When choosing music for your wedding (in addition to your personal preferences) it’s important to consider the musical tastes and desires of your guests. A good point to consider is that your wedding (reception and/or ceremony) is an opportunity for you to give back to your guests for their participation and support, so choose a mus

    Why Don't Some Homes Sell?
It's an unfortunate thing, homes that are listed on a given real estate market and do not sell. This can be a huge cause of anguish and stress for the owners as they have to reduce their price to eventually sell the home. There are a variety of reasons that homes don't sell, some of them are financial, some are related to the home itself, and finally some are related to the market. The last of these reasons, a typical seller has no control over so it's pointless to try. The most that can be done is to research the current market trends and list your home at a time when its a sellers market. The other two reasons, a seller does h

Travel the Path to Financial Independence
An “activist” is someone, who, seeing a need for change or improvement, becomes involved in promoting that change or improvement.I suppose that makes me an activist, of sorts.More than thirty years ago my heart hatched a dream. I wanted to travel a path that would help me to become financially independent. But I did not stay the course. I did not continue to search, research, act and follow through. So here I am. One of the typical statistics of the general population of the nation. I have virtually no savings and very little put away into a retirement vehicle. But it is not too late. It is never too la

If Job Interviews Scare The Snot Out Of You...
It's a fact of life. If you want a new job, you'll have to deal with a job interview. And they typically scare people (maybe you) to death. If you're feeling uncomfortable right now just thinking about a job interview, there are resources to minimize that fear. But think about what causes the fear for a second.Usually the fear comes from one of four things: General "stage fright" kind of willies Lack of preparation Worry about not knowing the answer to something Lack of resume confidence (frequently because of "exaggerations" on it) Avoiding the last on
