    Making a Business Plan
Making a business plan for the growth and development of the business is not an exercise solely for profit maximization. It is a mission statement and must incorporate the moral principles that are indispensable for sustaining a healthy public image of the firm. The business deve
My first coach introduced me to the idea of ‘being’. I had no idea what she was on about or why on earth I’d want to sit still at all. Things to see, people to do – busy, busy, rush rush rush. Not enough hours in the day. Being open to trying new things though, I sat still. And fidgeted. And got bored. And exercised my impatience ;-).

And persevered. After some time, something magical happened – I started to look forward to those minutes of stillness in an otherwise chaotic life. I started to relax. If, like me, you think ‘I don’t have time to sit still’ this exercise is DEFINITELY for you! If you can’t find 5 minutes in your day, then try for one minute. But make sure you do it. I have often used the ‘I’ll do it in a minute’ procrastination excuse, and I know that this excuse is not helpful. It doesn’t take long. I no longer meditate. I just sit and watch the world go by for a few minutes - watching the clouds, or the stars, or the wind in the trees is like balm to soothe my frazzled mind.

You will find your brain will come up with all sorts of ‘new’ stuff, just from that little rest. In moments of quietness, you create the space for your heart and your intuition to be heard.

This is quite possibly the most important and useful exercise for managing stress I have ever been taught. Make it your own, and allow yourself to be still without thinking or worrying or 'doing' for an amount of time that feels easy...I hope you will find the time to ‘be’ today.
