How To Get A YES When Asking For A First Date
Asking someone out on a date is not rocket science, but for some people it can be very overwhelming, especially when asking somebody out for the first time. By following the tips below you can help increase the odds of getting a YES when asking someone out on a date.1
This putting tip was recommended to me not to long ago, and I wanted to pass it along. It should help you develop a sense of 'feel' with your putts.

Find a level practice green. Line up several golf balls about twenty feet or so from the fringe of the green.

Line up over the first ball and take your regular putting stroke, putting toward the fringe. Do not look up at your shot immediately after impact. Instead keep your head down and guess where the putt will stop. Will it be long? Short? Perfect?

After you've made your guess based on what you 'feel', look up and watch exactly where the golf ball comes to a stop compared to your estimate. Putt through all your practice balls in the same manner.

This exercise separates your sense of sight from your sense of touch. Therefore, you can understand why it's important to make your guess of where the ball will land before you look up and get the feedback of your sight.

After making your guess look up and follow the path of your putt, watching it come to a complete stop. This will give your brain added feedback and accelerate the process of developing the proper 'feel' to putting. See how quickly your guesses become accurate and all your putts begin finishing in the same position, close to the fringe of the green.

A additional benefit to this simple drill is that will teach you to keep your head down and still while putting. As fundamental as it sounds, keeping a still head is imperative to mastering your putting stroke.

Shooting to an area rather than a target should allow you to learn to putt from a more relaxed position, ridding tension from your putts. Tension is, of course, the death nil to any putt.

Once you've experimented with this exercise on a flat surface, try it on others as well: downhill, uphill, and undulating. It shouldn't take you long to develop a feel for whatever putting situation that presents itself on the golf course.
