A pharmaceutical company based in Gaithersburg, Maryland is preparing for a clinical research study of an investigational vaccine for traveler’s diarrhea. The study will evaluate the study vaccine to determine if it may prevent or lessen the symptoms of travelers' diarrhea from developing. The investigational vaccine is given via a patch on the skin that is worn for approximately six hours. Two patches are applied in the month prior to departure.

You must be in country for at least 7 days. Participation in this study is entirely voluntary. Participants will be compensated up to $900. In most cases, this would cover the cost of a 2-week language immersion experience (excluding airfare). In essence, you can travel for free!
