Seven Seas Sailing School has been teaching Western New York youth, individuals and families the love and art of sailing since 1970. Each year there's a start up, and each year there's a season break down. Winter passes, and a new robust season begins.

"It's amazing how many people relocate to Florida, for the sailing, only to eventually find out it lacks our WNY fervor for the squeezed six month season" says Bill Zimmermann, executive Director of the non-profit Seven Seas. Zimmermann is looking forward top September sailing in Buffalo, "the best," he says...then to October...November... and maybe, just maybe some of December. "Then we go skiing! It's great! And back to sailing, after askiing, in late April-- BUffalo is by far the best!"
