Blue Safari club is an ultra-exclusive island paradise. It has long been an idyllic retreat for a rich and famous international clientele who seek peace and privacy. The Blue Safari Club is a handful of luxury grass huts scattered on white sandy beaches and surrounded by tall palm trees and blue waters. It is located on the northeastern tip of Manda Island, nearest neighbor to Lamu. There are no roads-you arrive by boat.

Meals are served when you are ready; the bar is always open, you can arrange snorkeling, fishing, or sailing as the spirit takes you.
The club is limited to 20 guests, and the Brighettis prefer to entertain only one party at a time. The privacy and preference of each guest is of paramount importance to all the staff. The atmosphere is casual but reserved. There is a studied informality here-mammoth floor cushions artfully arranged and beautiful people with “chic” kangas draped over swim wear.

Accommodations in the Blue Safari Club
Guests stay in small round bandas of woven grass and thatch. These are well spaced in two rows, with the preferred front row at waters edge. Smooth grass mating serves as walls and floors. Curtains and bedspreads are bright kanga cloth and a a veranda in front of each Banda has Lamu-style lounge chairs with woven seats.
Each Banda has a private bathroom reached through a short roofed and matted walkway. Bathrooms are simple with an open shower and unheated water. There is 24-hour electricity. Mosquito nets are lowered and bandas sprayed at night. There are fans in ach of them.
