Although farther from the sea, the club is very exclusive and more up market than the hotel. Entry to the club is carefully restricted. The 116 rooms are more luxurious with elegant d?cor. There are 16 deluxe suites and two swimming pools. Pretty walk ways pass over lily ponds. There are lawns, colourful flower beds and a dining terrace. The golf course is highly recommended.

Guests of both hotel and club share resort facilities, casino, restaurants, beach lounger rental, windsurfing with lessons, a PADI Diving school, four floodlit tennis courts, a golf course, horse riding on the beach or inland, beauty salon, massage parlor, and bus service to Mombasa.

Trade Winds Beach Hotel

This hotel can accommodate approximately 200 people. Public rooms and old wing rooms have a faded d?cor. The newer wing with Arab style windows is set farther back from the beach. There is a large but pool and a nice beach front.
