Upon driving away from reception at Hunter's Country House, after only about three hundred metres, you turn left and follow the dirt track for a similar distance to be warmly greeted outside at Tsala Treetop Lodge by a member of staff who greets you by name and accompanies you to reception. Our luggage had already been moved from our suite at Hunter's Country House to our suite at Tsala Treetop Lodge.
Tsala Treetop Lodge has been created by the bringing together of wood, stone, glass and water in Tsitskamma forest to create ten exclusive secluded luxury suites. Our suite was about a one hundred and fifty metre stroll from reception along a wooden walkway-almost total isolation with just the occasional monkey to keep you company.

Back at the Tsala Treetop Lodge there is an indoor lounge area, library and there are also outdoor seating areas to enjoy cocktails and canapes before enjoying a candle-lit dinner during darkness. Dinner was a delight-the menus were personally prepared for us with each of our names on them. Breakfast was a feast with so much choice from the cold table or hot food cooked to order.
