Barcelona is about 15 minutes away by taxi, and you can find a taxi stand easily from nearly any terminal. The taxis in Barcelona are white and have a red stripe.

Trains are another great way to get out of the airport and into the city. The stations are very convenient from all terminals and you should be on the lookout for signs as you exit your terminals or ask airport personnel. The trains usually begin at about 6am and continue until about 11:30pm.

As in any large city buses are a widely used form of transportation. The Aero-Bus is the bus from the airport and their schedule is the same as that of the trains.

Don’t forget about the private cars that are for hire in Spain as well. If you want to ride around comfortably on your honeymoon or anniversary, or just want to treat the family then hiring a minibus or a large Mercedes with a driver is a tremendous idea and an aspect of your vacation that will probably hold in your memory for years. Just be aware of the usual 4-hour minimum for this service.
