The costs associated with these have considerably come down. Gone are the days when one needed to spend hundreds of dollars on internet domain registration and domain hosting. Under certain circumstances, one can have these even free now. In any case, even if one is paying for the same, these are very cheap.Any website has to have a name. For this, one has to register a domain name. After registering, one needs to host a w

Softball Pitcher's Face Mask Should Be Mandatory
The time has come for the Sanctioning bodies of adult softball and youth fastpitch softball to require all softball pitchers and 3rd basemen to wear a protective softball face mask. While the actual risk of being hit in the face with a line drive is slight, the severity of the injury can be blindness or even death. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission in 1991 reported that more than 100,000 cases of facial t
With all the fancy new products on the market designed to make your housework easier comes a high price that dear Mother Earth has to pay. Most cleaning products contain toxic ingredients that not only pollute the soil and underground streams when dumped outside; they also get into the air. The toxic fumes and residue left over from household cleaners can be dangerous or deadly to small children and pets. Here are some green alternatives to those toxic, not to mention expensive, household cleaning products, but be forewarned...the main ingredient is ELBOW GREASE!

    WINDOW AND GLASS CLEANER
The way grandma used to do it! Newspaper, vinegar and, of course, elbow grease!

    ALL PURPOSE CLEANER
1/2 cup ammonia + 1/3 cup washing soda + 1 gallon warm water You can use this on just about everything and it deodorizes so get rid of the Lysol!

    DISINFECTANT
Speaking of Lysol, green cleaning products, especially plain old soap, disinfect just fine. Store bought cans of disinfectant contains many harmful ingredients and are much more expensive.

    DESCALER
1 Part Vinegar to 1 Part Water. Use in coffee machine, kettle, or iron. Pour into reservoir and let stand 30 minutes. I usually have to give my coffee machine a scrub but only because I don't do this as often as I should. Once a month is recommended.

    TUB AND TILE CLEANER
Baking soda and a damp cloth will clean your tub and tiles. You may need to use a brush to get into the grout (here's where the elbow grease comes in!) but this will do the job without harming the environment.

    TOILET BOWL CLEANER
Mix borax and lemon juice into a paste. Wet the sides of the toilet bowl, rub and let stand for a few hours for heavy stains. Scrub off and flush!

    DRAIN OPENER
If the plunger doesn't work try this: 250ml baking soda, 250ml salt, 125ml white vinegar and a pot of boiling water. Pour the soda, salt and vinegar down the drain and leave for 15-20 minutes. Pour in the boiling water.

    GREEN CLEANING SUPPLY LIST
(You will find that these are FAR less expensive than the toxic name-brand variety.)

    Target Your Marketing
Market targeting is the only, truly cost effective way to promote your business. It may seem counter intuitive to you if you are a new home business entrepreneur, but everyone is not your customer. Money and time spent reaching those who aren't is simply wasted.Scattering your marketing dollars across a wide, untargeted market, is like the deer hunter referred to by sales trainer Brian Tracy. This hunter stood on the edge

Writing A Cover Letter For A New Construction Job
When applying to a new construction job, your cover letter is the first thing an employer will read, even before a CV, so it is one of the most important things to get right! The role of the cover letter is to highlight your main skills and experiences that match what the company is looking for in order to emphasize that you are right for the job. There is no strict formula but there are some important things to remem

BORAX: Helps to clean and deodorize. Use on wallpaper, painted walls and floors. Use it with your detergents to remove stains, and boost the cleaning power.

WASHING SODA: Helps to clean clothing and soften the water. Use it in a well-ventilated area, wear gloves. Washing soda is mildly toxic. I use washing soda in the tub to remove soap scum, works great!

AMMONIA: Strong Stuff! Use it to clean carpet, linoleum, most appliances, copper and enamel. WARNING! Never mix ammonia with bleach; it will create a poisonous gas. Always use in a well-ventilated area!

Now, get to work! I'll be laying on my couch ready to supervise or answer any questions. Just be sure to wait until I've finished my bon-bons and soap operas before disturbing me!
