Make Your Feedback Constructive, Not Combative
How to give feedback to employees is one of the most frequent issues that my coaching clients raise. Usually the situation is framed as dealing with a problem employee – someone who won’t listen, doesn’t follow instructions, isn’t careful with his or her work, or somehow isn’t working out. Sometimes the individual really isn’t the right match for the job. More often, though, the real problem is a manager who is not giving clear, actionable feedback about their expectations and the behaviors that
l fly. On which airline? The airline which is one click from your website. And you get a commission.

    They need a car…

    Where will they eat?

    Where will they shop?

What if some people want to settle there? Where will they live?

    You get the picture.

What Do You Love? Creating a travel website is only one scenario. The possibilities are numerous. What do you love? What can you share with people that would benefit them? How can you create business for other people simply by writing about what you already know?

Only you can answer these questions. But of one thing you should be certain. Everybody has at least one good niche within them. It just takes a little work.

    Get The Decision To Buy
A critical key to persuasion is to understand and use dissonance. You always want your prospect to feel they made the decision, and they persuaded themselves. That is why we say internal pressure is the secret. Let the rubber band stretch. When talking to a prospect you want them to make a decision as soon as possible. They don’t need to know everything about your product or service. Get them involved and fill in the blanks later. Before they buy your product of service, t
Finders Keepers, Losers Weepers At one time I was in the residential building industry. I absolutely loved it. But I didn’t always make money. In fact, sometimes I would lose quite a bit of money.

But you know who never lost money? The real-estate agent. I would work for months constructing the house and lose thousands of dollars. The real-estate agent put the deal together... and always made a profit. She got the finder’s fee.

    Finders keepers... Losers weepers.

The idea of finder's fees may give you visions of fast moving, high-stakes business deals generating millions of dollars in profit. These scenarios certainly exist. But generating good income from finder's fees does not have to be so 'Hollywood' in nature.

In reality there are opportunities for generating referral income all around us. And more times than not, one referral opportunity leads to others. And the good news is…

It is not as complicated as you may think.

A Very Realistic Example Let’s say you live in a beautiful, though not too well-known quaint little part of the world. It is a very popular vacation spot for the locals. But it remains unknown to the rest of the world. The locals, of course, like it that way. But you see it as an opportunity.

You are not the only one who smells opportunity. A local hotel owner thinks that by creating a website the world will beat a path to his door. But there is one problem. No one is looking for his hotel, or his website, or for him. His beautiful masterpiece of a website dies a lonely death.

You also think creating a website is a great idea. But you know one thing the hotel owner doesn’t know. You know that people are not looking for his hotel. What are people looking for?

So you decide that creating a website about some of these exciting things may be just the ticket.

And so you do. And why not? Nobody knows this little slice of heaven better than you? The travel agent doesn't. You live there. It is your turf. It is your backyard. You know it like the back of your hand. You know its secrets. You have the inside track. You know the best places to do the best things.

So you write about that. You write with passion. You write as an insider. You write as one friend telling another friend a great secret. You are the expert. It is your niche. So you say to the world. Come! Enjoy this wonderful place as much as I do.

And they do come. They come to your little website. In fact they come by the thousands. Why? Because you gave your niche audience exactly what they were looking for.

But some of them actually want to come to your backyard.

Where will they stay? At the hotel, of course. And so you recommend the hotel… for a fee.

How will they get there? They will fly. On which airline? The airline which is one click from your website. And you get a commission.

    Steal This Ebook
The hippie bible "Steal this book" was an anti-capitalism manifesto, widely remembered because of its creative and aggressive title plus its subvertive message.Paper books like that one were not easy to steal, because of the guards in the bookstores and the costly effort of retyping, mastering, printing, binding and distributing. In the digital era you can get an ebook, crack or OCR it if protected, and copy-pasting it.The main client for ebook-stealing tools are webmasters, in par

Innovation And The Challenge Of Growth
Constant innovation is a characteristic of most successful growing companies. Competitive advantage requires inventiveness at individual, group, and company levels. As companies grow, market demands and competition will force them to maintain a culture of continuous innovation. Growth, however, also creates a need for structure and control, which can make a culture of innovation difficult to sustain.Loss of flexibilitySustainable growth requires increased operation
