Added for You - Is Internet Marketing just Another JOB?
Businesses Failure – 10 Reasons Why It Happens And What To Do To Avoid It con? By setting up a successful Internet business are you merely committing yourself to a different type of job? Possibly yes but at least you get to do things on your own terms :-)No one wants their business to fail, but there are 10 main reasons why it may. Discover what these are and what you can do to avoid these problems.1. Insufficient Working Capital It is crucial for businesses to have a financial cushion especially in the start-up phase. Ever changing markets can take many unexpected turns which make financial reserves a must. Ensure that you are realistic in how long it will be your turnover starts and how much money you need to survive until your company becomes profitable.2. Lack of a Solid and Visionary Busines By pure coincidence, I noticed another thread i Company Logo Design There was a thread on my forum this week in which a few members were discussing how many hours they spent working on their online businesses.A logo design, commonly known as a logo, is the graphic element of a trademark or brand, set in a special font or arranged in a particular but legible way. The color, shape, typeface, etc. of a logo should be distinctly different from others on the market. It is a graphic representation symbolizing one’s organization. It is designed for instant identification and can appear on company letterhead and advertising material, and is a way an organization can easily be recognized. The most crucial aspect of logo selection is developing the logo concept. A logo talks about your company and should A handful of members admitted to putting in over 40 hours per week working online and I have to say, this is not uncommon. When I first started my Internet businesses, it was normal for me to work into the early hours and then grab a couple of hours sleep before getting up to squeeze another hour in before I went to my real job. When I left my job and went full-time, my hours online increased dramatically. Even today (when so many of my day to day tasks are automated) I still work a minimum of 35 hours a week and this can rise to over 100 hours if I have a specific project on the go. It's not just me - you will find that most successful online marketers work some serious hours, probably many more than they ever did in any 'proper' job. So is this online business thing just a big con? By setting up a successful Internet business are you merely committing yourself to a different type of job? When I left my job and went full-time, my hours online increased dramatically. The reason we Franchisors call it an exclusive territory is because we will not sell that area again to another franchisee. That is your area to market and to conquer and to generally obtain as much market penetration as possible. If you are a home-based business or mobile franchise then this is a serious issue. You can put as many service units in your area can support and try to make the most reasonable profit you can per each service unit you put into your exclusive territory. Most franchisors charge a percentage of the gross income and probably make a little off every service unit you buy, Even today (when so many of my day to day tasks are automated) I still work a minimum of 35 hours a week and this can rise to over 100 hours if I have a specific project on the go. A systematic analysis of 14 critical market segment attributes should be considered before any additional company resources are applied to any new market pursuit.Sometimes it is obvious that entering a new market is a “no brainer” or it is perceived as the “right thing to do” because a competitor has taken the plunge or a handful of existing product or service users, within that market segment, are asking for your market participation.Taking on a new market is an integrative decision process, cuttin Even today (when so many of my day to day tasks are automated) I still work a minimum of 35 hours a week and this can rise to over 100 hours if I have a specific project on the go. It's not just me - you will find that most successful online marketers work some serious hours, probably many more than they ever did in any 'proper' job.Marketing and its little brother advertising are all about storytelling. It doesn't matter if you are talking about a display ad for a magazine or a Web-video for your website or for a Google Video Ad, if it doesn't tell a story then it's not going to do the job. When people asked us what we did, we used to tell them we were a website design firm that specialized in audio and video, today we tell them we are corporate storytellers. If you aren't telling your story you are not going to meet your marketing goals. If you want to know how to tell your corporate story well, or even if you So is this online business thing just a big con? By setting up a successful Internet business are you merely committing yourself to a different type of job? Possibly yes but at least you get to do things on your own terms :-)Many customer service consultants do not give good customer service themselves to the corporations who hire them for advice and training. This is rather interesting, as it shows a total disregard for the customer, while purporting to be an expert on customer service.Too many people who are semi retired will go into the customer service consulting industry and set up a web site and pretend to be someone of extreme importance and knowledge in the field. They will write articles in trade journals and over-embellish their résumés on their web sites. The fact is that there By pure coincidence, I noticed another thread in a completely different forum this week in which someone was asking a very similar question but in a slightly different way. The lady in question had given herself a target of earning (from memory) $2000 a month from her online business efforts. The last couple of months she had hit this target one or two days before the end of the month. This month however, she had already made the $2000 by the 18th. Her question was simply this, 'What do I do now? Do I continue working/promoting in order to earn more money or do I take the rest of the month off?' It's a fair question - whenever anyone talks about working online, they nearly always state that they can take as much time off as they want and the 'Internet lifestyle' dictates that once you have earned your salary for the month, you should spend the rest of the month lying on a beach somewhere! Of course, it doesn't happen like this and although it would be nice to stop working o
