I do not mean some ideas floating around in your head of unrealistic goals and no set way to reach them.Your Business Plan should include but not be limited to the following ideas.First and foremost, is the start-up of a business, which includes issue such as:1.Choosing a Business - you should choose an area that is of

When Your Business Grows Out Of Your Job As A Founder: Can You Really Go Home Now?
You get to a stage where there is a team dedicated to running your day to day business. As a founder if you have been actively invovled, you quickly find yourself in a positions that get made redundant by your growing organization. Every thing you used to do is now being done by someone you have hired. From running technology development to doing sales demos, from managing books of accounts to hiring talent, from writing user manuals to editing press releases, every function you were involved with is now staffed. What do you do next? You can take it easy but I won't wander too far off on a break because there are still two things that only you can do that no one else can. The first is expectation management - internally and externally. The second
Many great website concepts are developed, launched... and then flop! The primary purpose of a website for any business is to generate increased revenues or reduced costs, or both. If it doesn't meet these goals it's going to be canned. So why do apparently good concepts fail? Because without all the pieces in the puzzle, we can't get the full picture.

    Statistics

How many people currently visit your website each day, week or month? You'd be surprised how many people have lengthy meetings with me about improving their website, but when quizzed about statistics they can't provide any data. The best website in the world is unlikely to pay for itself if only 5 or 10 people are visiting it each week. You must have statistics.

Statistics enable you to establish your current benchmark, monitor your progress, and identify which aspects of your site are successful and which aren't. Products like LiveStats, Webalyser and AWstats will give you detailed information about which pages people are viewing, how long they're staying for, what types of browser and computer they're using (so that you can ensure your site functions correctly in their browser), and how they arrived at your site (for example, were they referred by a search engine or perhaps another commercial website).

Without statistics to measure your success, you'll have no idea whether your website is money well spent or not.

International Franchise Agreements and Language Issues
When dealing with foreign investors and franchising in another country often language and interpretation of word meanings can get clouded. Additionally tenses or gender of words can change what a sentence says or means in an agreement. In franchising Internationally this becomes a real issue because of the number of potential countries an international US Based, Australian or European Based Franchisor might franchise in.As we expanded our company into other markets we found this to be extremely problematic due to the fact that a particular country may have different dialects and issues in their own language itself, not to mention the English versions of the words and their meanings. One issue we immediately noticed when trying to deal in multiple

Contrary to Popular Belief, Holidays Are Important Time to Network
During the holiday season (from Thanksgiving to New Year’s), it’s common for people to take a break from their networking activities. Understandably, people become busy with family and feel an end-of-the-year crunch with their work.Contrary to popular belief, the holiday season is a great time to network because of holiday parties, holiday cards and companies still in hiring mode.Holiday EventsIn the month of December, companies and networking groups generally hold holiday events. The purpose of these events is to allow attendees or employees to unwind at the end of year, be social and have fun.Take advantage of these opportunities because you can get to know people in a more casual environment. At the same time, these

3 Out of the Box Web Marketing & Conversion Tips
In the world of online marketing, being on time is too late. It’s no longer enough to simply ride the wave of the latest marketing trend, you must anticipate the wave and be ready when it hits. In an environment where banner ads are becoming increasingly ineffective, Pay Per Click is becoming increasingly expensive, and natural search is becoming increasingly competitive, companies need new and creative ways to reach their target audience without breaking the budget. Below I will share 3 out of the box ideas that websites can use to inexpensively reach their potential customers or help convert existing traffic to their websites.1) Create a Street Team: While the term “viral marketing” is all the rage these days, it

Not getting many people to your site? They need to hear about it! Even if your online catalogue looks fantastic, your advertising copy is eloquently worded, and your shopping experience is a breeze, it's pointless if people don't know it's there. Your statistics will confirm for you how many people are (or aren't) visiting your site, so now you've got a benchmark from which to begin.

How can you promote your site and your business? There's a range of ways, and the exact mix will vary from business to business, and product to product. Search engines are often a great place to start. If you can fine-tune your website so that it shows up on the first page of Google's search results, you may well attract alot of interest. Likewise, you can use paid advertising opportunities such as Google Adwords to ensure that search users are exposed to your advertisement.

However, if you offer a product or service that people aren't aware of and therefore don't search for, you're going to need to use methods which get you in front of them, rather than waiting for them to search for you. This might involve online advertising, cross-promotional activities with another company, or offline strategies including magazine advertising, television, radio, outdoor billboards, direct mail, email marketing, letterbox drops, tradeshows, and more.

If people aren't visiting your site, you'll have to promote it.

    Wording

The most important component of any marketing/advertising you undertake is always the wording, whether that be
