Hotel Booking Online Makes For Easy Business
If you've ever attempted to make a group hotel booking, you'll know how difficult it can be. When it comes to business meetings or conferences in particular, mass hotel bookings can be particularly hard to co-ordinate. After all, it's likely that all the delegates attending the business meeting you're planning will be arriving from different parts of the country at different times; so how can you be sure all their rooms are secure? You'll also have to ensure that you have sufficient meeting space for your business delegates, as well as refreshments and audio/visual eq

    Special Day Fundraising: Fundraising Cards
Often students in schools are involved in projects that require the class or students to raise additional money to cover the cost of that project. Some of these projects could be the raising of money to purchase band uniforms, go on a class trip, take a trip oversees, etc.To help raise additional revenue there have been many creative fundraising efforts conducted. Some of these fundraising efforts include car washes, bowl-a-thons, walk-a-thons, selling of candy, etc.One additional fundraising effort that has proven to be successful is the selling of gree
“Once Upon a Cubicle there was a man who wanted out
He knew he couldn’t stay here but still was filled with doubt
The thought of no weekly paycheck turned his smile into a pout
But ‘A business startup is my heaven’ was all that he could shout!”

Funny doggerel, you’d say, but this is the kind of dilemma so many men and women go through every day. The dream of being your own boss and living a more wholesome life versus the loss of security of a paycheck is a huge battle. But free sticky notes or the lack of it is keeping fewer and fewer dreamers in jobs that don’t rock their socks any more.

The reasons people cite for quitting mainstream, regular jobs and turning to entrepreneurship are wide and varied. Some want to chase a dream, some want to spend more time with family and some are looking for creative satisfaction. Whatever the motivation may be, most entrepreneurs I meet agree on one thing – starting out on their own has given them more satisfaction- personal and professional, than any other job they’ve ever had.

There is the satisfaction of being appreciated, of utilizing one’s skills, ideas and capabilities to one’s direct advantage and having a well-rounded life. That is why starting your own business is a liberating and exciting challenge. More than making pots of money, it is about finding your place under the sun, making your mark doing what you like to do and are good at.

If you are the guy in my limerick and looking for a reason to cut loose from the cubicle, here are 10 reasons to do it:

    1. You Would Love Your Work– When you get into business for yourself you most likely choose something you are passionate about and are good at. This mixture of proficiency and passion is what makes it worthwhile.

    2. There Is No Retirement: A businessman never has to retire from the job. You like your work and are enthusiastic about it and that makes it possible for you to go on till you feel the time is right to call it a day. You get to decide when to quit, not HR or the boss.

    3. You’d Be Your Own Boss: Seriously, this one doesn’t even need an explanation! You can set targets for yourself and chart out your own course. You get to decide whether you want to spend the most productive hours of your day working on a new sales campaign or go to a meeting where most people are looking somber and secretly doodling on their writing pads.

    4. You Learn More: When you are the CEO, the janitor, the accountant, copy writer and the customer support team (plus a whole lot of other things like the official coffee maker and the receptionist) learning is inevitable and the learning curve much steeper.

    5. You Will Be Creating Wealth: Creation of wealth is the hallmark of a business - for yourself and for other people. If you look closely you will find that the world’s richest people were either born rich or built their riches through a business idea that they had the guts to take forward and sustain.

    6. You Will Be More Satisfied: There is no instant gratification anywhere in the world, in any activity! Being in business is a deeper, longer-lasting satisfaction than being a part of the 6.00 pm back-to-home commuter crowd. The challenges, the rewards and the learning a start-up business offers is far more gratifying.

    7. You Can Be Creative And Be Rewarded For It: When you are in a start-up situation, you are on your own and the paucity of resources necessitates lateral thinking. For an entrepreneur, creative thinking is directly proportional to the rewards received.
