    Grant Scams Are Rampant
NEWS FLASH: Government Grant scams are running rampant all over the United States. But you must understand that the government is NOT in the business of giving away free money for the sake of giving away money. Contrary to what a lot people are led to believe, "free grants" do not exist -- at least, not in the way we might believe. Like most con artists, the free-money hucksters take a grain of truth and distort it.No government group or charitable organization is going to give you money without asking themselves, "What's in it for me?" y - you don't want knitting ads! Make sure you use keywords in posts which drive relevant ads. If your content is photo - use the word 'blog' once in a while - you get many ads from that keyword.

    5. Keep ads within content.

The best way to have ads is between content - but you can put ads between the content and the header, but only do this if it fits perfectly in between there, that is - the size of your content is the size of the leader board/banner otherwise you're going to reduce the visual aesthetics of the blog.

Right now, a lot of blogs have Google Adsense (mine does too) but there is a 'right' and a 'wrong' way to use it. You have to keep a steady balance between user experience and enjoyment and the amount and quality of advertisements. Sometimes it's very hard and cannot be done but I'll try to explain how to make a balance.

These pointers might not work for you,and might decrease your revenue ; but I am concentrating on the user here, not your income, but at the same time I will try to make sure you income does not substantially fall. This is my personal experience the best way to find out the best strategies for your blog is to experiment.

    1. Not too less - not too many.

I'm assuming you want to earn something from Adsense- but not too much (not as a source of income but you consider it as a bonus of blogging). The number of ads is number one on the list - just because Google allows 3 ad units with 1 link unit and 2 search boxes along with 1 referral button for each product (4 products currently but growing), you should never use all. The perfect number depends on balancing it out.For example, in ad units, if you have one wide skyscraper and one rectangle (any size) that's fine - but three wide skyscrapers becomes too much (unless laid out far apart.) Basically, on opening the page - he/she should only see one ad unit - period.

For referrals - two buttons maximum is my advice - and that's Firefox and Picasa because the chances of getting that 100$ from Adwords and Adsense is low - firstly, only people who don't know about Adsnese will click it - you think people who don't even know what Adsense is will earn 100$ (which is necessary for you to earn something)?People who can, already know about Adsense - and I'm sure publishers won't come to your site and suddenly discover Adwords - even if they do - they won't spend 100$ because they haven’t tried it before.Have Firefox and Picasa - if you have a photoblog only Picasa but a much larger button instead.

    2. Colors

Colors make a difference - I find that making them blend in with your template works much better. Why? Well if you make it stand out it directs the users attention to ads right? Yes, very true - however most users will figure out they are ads - and not click them. Do we watch all the ads on television or just mute it or change the channel - exactly. Have ads that blend in - they look like links so he/she doesn't mind clicking.(they should look like the links on your blog).A big rule is not to label them 'Ads' they should look like relevant links.

    3. Layout

Discussed partially in point one, layout is also very important .You should not have ads everywhere - they will get clicks but most probably you will also irritate some people and distract them from the content (which is the most important part of any blog).Don't place ads right next to each other - it just looks greedy. Place them far apart.

    4. Relevance

If you have a blog about technology - you don't want knitting ads! Make sure you use keywords in posts which drive relevant ads. If your content is photo - use the word 'blog' once in a while - you get many ads from that keyword.

    5. Keep ads within content.

    Providing Value to the Market
Your business will achieve success to the direct proportion that you deliver value according to the marketplace. As an entrepreneur and founder of The Flourishing Business and The Flourishing Methodology, I have found that the essence of any business is to create value for others. Paramount to everything your business does, it must create unique value for your customers and clients. Many entrepreneurs become so focused on their company that they forget to look at the value their business is or is not providing to others. The following are five of
