Media Training: How To Speak During a Media Interview et primary keyword phrases?WHITE NOISEA client recently told me about a fascinating new approach to television advertising. Some advertisers, she said, are producing 30 second commercials without even a hint of sound. That approach goes counter to every rule of television advertising. Since the combination of visual messages and audio allows for the greatest probability of the advertiser’s message actually sinking in, sound is a critical element. Plus, since so many people leave the room during commercials, advertisers want to make sure those people can at least hear the ad.So why would a television advertiser leave the audio out? Imagine it’s dinner time. Dad is preparing dinner for the kids and has the television on in the corner of the kitchen. Dad’s not really watching – he’s focused on cooking – and the programming is basically just background noise. But you’re an advertiser, and since you’re paying good money for that airtime, you want his attention. So the television, which has been providing consistent background noise for the past half hour, suddenly goes quiet. Dad notices, and his head snaps up to see if someth Keyword research, and manipulation of keywords going into an article has evolved in recent years. When I first started out it was simple. Write content around one primary keyword and 2 or 3 secondary keywords. Insert the primary in the title, meta tags, H1 header tag, twice in each paragra Internet Marketing Strategy – 4 Foundational Approaches I was reading through some articles that were submitted to my article site the other day. Some are really very good, but on the other hand, some were not.If you are interested in devising an effective way to promote your Internet based business, if you want to develop a meaningful Internet marketing strategy, there are four core approaches that you need to bear in mind:-- develop a comprehensive solution-- know your niche-- target your audience-- revise and revamp as neededBy understanding and utilizing these core approaches, you will be able to implement a successful Internet marketing strategy.Develop a Comprehensive SolutionAt the outset you will want to make certain that you develop and implement a comprehensive Internet marketing strategy and solution. Just as you would not be able to operate an engine that is missing vital parts so you will not be able to operate an Internet marketing strategy with missing pieces.Know Your NicheIn developing a Internet marketing strategy you need to understand the marketplace niche in which your products or services will have the most appeal. The products or services you offer simply will not have the same appeal in all marketplaces.Target Your AudienceSi Of the "bad" ones, the thing that struck me was how easy it was to pick out the main keyword the author was using when he/she wrote the article. Even after reading only the first paragraph, I could spot it, and my suspicions were confirmed as I continued down the article. Articles written around a main (primary) keyword often read very badly. The author tries to insert the exact phrase over and over again, even when it is not grammatically correct to do so. The article sounds forced (because it is). And my point is? Well my point here is that if I can spot this type of keyword focused content, so can a search engine. Articles written in this way are written for the search engine, not the visitor, and are therefore going to be the type of article that the search engines want to remove from their database. Remember, the search engines want to serve up the most relevant content with the best information. They will assume (as I would) that any article written purely for the search engine is not going to be of interest to a visitor. So, where does that leave us in terms of keyword research? Does this mean we should not target primary keyword phrases? Keyword research, and manipulation of keywords going into an article has evolved in recent years. When I first started out it was simple. This cost must be measured not only in terms of lost production and sick pay, but also in terms of employee morale. Whenever an employee is off sick, there is a knock-on effect on those colleagues who have to cover.Recent reports have highlighted that sickness is costing British businesses up to ?1.75 billion a year, or roughly ?500 per employee. Although the problem is far worse in the public sector, the private sector is still averaging 6.5 days of sickness absence a year per employee. Improved management of a company's sickness absence could mean serious savings.Sickness reporting:The first area to consider is the reporting of sickness. Before anything can be done to reduce absence levels it helps to know what they are. Everyone needs to know precisely what they are required to do if they are too ill to come in to work. Make sure employees are aware that they should phone, not leave a message, and speak to their manager or an equally senior person if they are not available.Tell e Articles written around a main (primary) keyword often read very badly. When faced with a situation that warrants a response, we put on our thinking cap. We depend on our thinking skills. Few of us are fully aware of the need to stop and reflect on the situation. However, it is not just companies but also private individuals. In fact it has never been a better time to have a millionaire dream.“Think And Be Rich”, is it really possible? If you look at the number of millionaires in the 80s, you would realize that the numbers jumped by more than 400% in the 90s. That figure has swell to more than 2000% in 2000. Every year, though we see more and more millionaires and billionaires being born, we have also seen a drastic increase in the number of bankrupts around the world. The credit card debts are believed to be more than one Trillion Dollars, according to a research done back in 2004.Compounding interests are no longer a major factor as banks are not offering as high an interest they used to provide. Each culture has its merits, but some are nearly impossible to live with. Which culture does your business utilize?------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Work hard & don't have a good time: People in your business are there for only 1 thing; work. They are not there to socialise, romance or have a good time. They receive the legal requirements & no more in relation to holidays, pensions etc. Due to this rigid culture, staff do not interact & new ideas are not forthcoming. They refuse to think about work at home & most hate the senior people in their organisation.Dress code: All units have their own dress code so that managers, administrators, sales, cleaners etc. are all easily identified. Managers must wear a suit and tie even if the office is melting on an exceptionally warm day.Be seen to be busy: They spend a lot of time looking busy, even when their workload is light, just in case their bo Keyword research, and manipulation of keywords going into an article has evolved in recent years. When I first started out it was simple. Write content around one primary keyword and 2 or 3 secondary keywords. Insert the primary in the title, meta tags, H1 header tag, twice in each paragraph, H2 header etc etc. Insert the secondaries throughout the article. Nowadays that optimization technique would be labelled as keyword stuffing by the search engines and ranked appropriately. In fact, I would not recommend any technique that had hard and fast rules about where to insert keywords into a document. With rules, you leave footprints, and footprints are visible to the search engines. This week I read a newly released "SEO tutorial" which offered exact methods of keyword placement involving inserting exact numbers of keywords into various parts of a page. Sure it helps a writer concentrate on the objective of the article having such firm rules, but don't expect it to help your rankings. If you follow the same rules on all your content, all your content has the same footprint. Obviously keywords are important since they will tell the search engines what a page is about. Don't forget though that keywords in incoming link text is important (even more important than the keywords on a page) in the page ranking. Keyword optimization must involve both on-page and off-page strategies. Off page factors are relatively easy. Select several phrases you want to rank for, and get incoming links that include those phrases. Add more phrases into the inbound link text mix
