How to Be a Fan of a Losing Team
There comes a time in every fan's life when they realize that their team isn't doing so well. If you're a Dolphins' fan, for example, you'll find your team with the worst record in football at the end of week 7 (at an amazing 1-6). This kind of situation naturally poses a bit of a conundrum to any fan.

Ugly NFL Teams
The public has more influence on NFL lines than any other sport and it has always been important to take a contrarian approach when handicapping the NFL, but I have noticed that the 'due theory' hasn't worked as well the past few years as some teams remain overrated, while others remain underrated and the betting public and oddsmakers fail to adjust. Below is a look at some of the worst teams in the NFL and which ones are on the rise and which ones you should continue to avoid.

Heisman Trophy – College Football's Player of the Year Award – Week Five
With another exciting week of college football in the books, this year's race for the Heisman saw two of our top contenders put together personal performances that helped distance themselves from their competitors. Ohio State's Troy Smith and Northern Illinois' Garrett Wolfe put forth performances worthy of Heisman voters’ attention, and also worthy of team victories. An important consideration in this week's analysis is that Adrian Peterson, Oklahoma, and Steve Slaton, West Virginia, enjoyed some extra time off. They will be back in action this week, so we will keep a close eye on their performances to see how their week of rest affects their play.

Lowering the Risk of High School Football Injuries
Football is a dangerous sport. Players endure bruising contact, long practices in hot weather and all sorts of unusual stresses and strains on their muscles, ligaments and tendons. It is not possible to prevent injuries in the game of football and for this reason many parents are hesitant to allow their children to participate.

The Big 10 Report - Week Three
The Big Ten Conference flexed its muscle this weekend, going 10-1 straight up and 6-3 against the spread. Now, six teams will begin conference play with undefeated records. The Buckeyes appear to be the clear-cut favorite to repeat as champions as the schedule has many favorable match-ups at the Horseshoe. That being said, they will receive stiff competition from their rivals up North, as Michigan laid a good, old-fashioned ass kicking on the Fighting Irish last weekend. The public was on the side of the Wolverines from the start, moving the line three points, but nobody could have expected such a one-sided result.
