NFL Weekend Wrap Up- What Did We Learn?
Week 1 of the NFL saw Underdogs cover at a rate of 8-4 ATS, a far cry from last year's trends where favorites ate up the books and pro cappers alike, BUT it was week 1. The play of the Quarterbacks was key to many underdog covers this weekend, let us highlight a few of them.

Jack Wilson
One of the most underrated players in the game of baseball is Pittsburgh Pirates shortstop Jack Wilson. A lot of people have never heard of Wilson before, but they should open up their eyes and ears! Wilson may not be the best shortstop in the league, but for the position he plays he is well above average.

Chris Duffy
Have you ever heard of Chris Duffy? Do you even know what team Duffy plays for? If not, you are definitely in the majority. The fact of the matter is that Duffy is a relative unknown in most areas of the world. A lot of hard core major league baseball fans may not know who he is either.

2006 Pittsburgh Steelers Preview
Pittsburgh has had a checkered offseason since hauling in the organization's fifth Super Bowl Trophy last February in Detroit. In a sense, it was as if as soon as they slid on that ring for the thumb they got mugged. By a 62-year-old lady.

Fantasy Football RB Sleepers
With less than two weeks left until the opening kickoff of the regular season, I figured now would be a good time to review some fantasy running back sleepers, that you should possibly take in your draft. If your draft is over, or if you think that some of these guys will be around after the draft is over, then put some thought into picking these guys up off waivers. Take a look at some of these players, and expect these relatively unknown running backs to help your fantasy team cruise to a title. Here's an article devoted entirely to the sleepers that we all want on our team!

College Football Marquee Match-ups
If you're like me, you are counting the seconds until college football starts next week. Even though there are some decent match-ups coming up in week one, there are some even better ones that will take place all throughout the season.

NFL QB Controversies - Who Will Keep Their Job?
There is nothing more potentially distracting to an NFL team than a quarterback controversy. When a starter has his job threatened by a precocious backup, or loses it altogether, it can divide the team and hurt a whining millionaire's feelings. Ask Trent Green or Rob Johnson if they are sending Christmas cards to Kurt Warner or Doug Flutie.

Dallas Cowboys' Game Analysis: Pre-Season Week 1 vs Seattle Seahawks
Interesting twists in the starting front seven. Two guys I doubt will
make the team (Scott Shanle and Kenyon Coleman) started. I
think this is kind of a last chance for these guys to show
improvement. Unless injuries hit, there is no way Shanle makes
the teams at LB. There are too many young guys with more
upside ahead of him in my opinion.

Football season is fast approaching and many individuals are perched on the end of their seats waiting for their favorite team to take the field. There is a lot of speculation as to which teams will be the hot ticket items this year and in order to provide an answer to this question it is important to look at the past football seasons and see which teams had the winning streaks and which ones left much to be desired with regard to the statistics.
