Why Should I Choose A Fiberglass Swimming Pool?
Fiberglass pools have been around since the 1950's. The concept idea was actually taken from the idea of a fiberglass boat. Just like a high-quality fiberglass boat, a fiberglass pool generally has no lifetime limit. The first fiberglass pool ever constructed still exists today. Free Diving
Free diving refers to any aquatic activity that requires the practice of breath-hold diving. Some free diving activities include spear fishing, free dive photography, snorkeling, and apnea competitions. Competitive apnea is considered to be an extreme sport. During these competitions, divers attempt to reach great depths on a single breath without using breathing devices. This activity garners more attention than other competitive free diving or apnea activities. Apnea falls into three categories: static, dynamic, and depth. Static apnea refers to timed breath holding, which normally takes place in pools; dynamic apnea is simply underwater swimming for distance and is also held in pools; depth apnea is further sub-categorized but mainly focuses on attempting to reach the farthest dept in a single breath.

Swimming Pool Chemicals Part Three-Shock
Anytime a pool is getting heavy use chlorine levels will drop as free chlorine combines with contaminants and forms chloramines. Chloramines cause that heavy “chlorine” smell any swimmer knows and loves. Though attributed to too much chlorine it’s actually the best indicator that chlorine is way too low! The pool needs a big dose of chlorine right away or bad things will happen. This is where pool shock comes to the rescue. Designed to add lots of chlorine in just minutes shock products are often the same stuff you use day to day but in a different form. There are two kinds of shocks; chlorine based and non-chlorine. Each is useful but in different situations.
