Christians all over the world will all be tempted in different ways. One problem we all will face is being tempted to conform to the world. Daily demands will distract us and only the ones who focus entirely on God will succeed in being different in this world.

Paul and Silas were escorted to the lowered dungeon, uncomfortable, in chains, mistreated, hurting and still probably bleeding from the beatings. One would expect them to be belligerent, angry, complaining but instead we find them singing and rejoicing. At midnight when it would seem they would have been trying to rest and soothe themselves, they prayed and sang praises to God.

Many of us have been taught that it is wrong to be angry. This thinking weighs heavily in both the sacred and secular domains. Is that thinking right or wrong?

It was during this time that he came across a rusty old garden tiller at the edge of his garden. It belonged to a farmer down the road who had sold it to Dad, but, when it didn't work, the farmer returned his money to him and told Dad just to bring it back any time.

We are powerful individuals. When combined together, we hold the key to our future on the Earth. We have the ability to shift the energetic structure of the planet. When enough individuals hold the same intention, prayer and thoughts of peace for all, then it brings a very powerful energy into being - the power of LOVE.

I love recipe books...looking through them, collecting them, and occasionally even using them. I suppose just having them is rather like a safety net. It's always mind assuring to know they are there just in case... But unless they are opened up and used, all the secrets inside will forever remain hidden from view. It will benefit no one.
