What Does Jesus Expect?

While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. --ROMANS 5:8 Expectations create conditional love. “I love you, but I’ll love you more if.” Now I know what you’re thinking. Shouldn’t we expect the best out of one another? Shouldn’t we encourage each other to strive for excellence and never settle for anything else? Absolutely. But it was Christ who taught us how to use expectations. Does He demand a lot? You better believe it. Does He expect much? Only our best. Does He have expectations? Just that we leave everything, deny all, and follow Him. The difference? Jesus’ expectations were accompanied by forgiveness and acceptance.

The Big Choice

The Big Choice “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in and eat with you, and you will eat with me.” REVELATION 3:20, NCV Jesus gives this invitation. To know God is to receive His invitation. Not just to hear it, not just to study it, not just to acknowledge it, but to receive it. It is possible to learn much about God’s invitation and never respond to it personally. Yet His invitation is clear and nonnegotiable. He gives all and we give Him all. Simple and absolute. He is clear in what He asks and clear in what He offers. The choice is up to us.

Anam Chara - The Flow of Life

“Listen to the sound
of the river and
you`ll catch a trout.” In Corrogue I am flowing. I write a blessing each morning that I allow as a creation in this heart and mind. This facilitates the practice of allowing. This facilitates the practice of flow. Some say I am a dreamer but I am practiced. I am a practitioner of the art of flow. Simply turning up before these blank pages I practice life facilitation. I let go into the surrender of words and the essence of words. I enter ease. This is the meaning of the word “facilitate.” It means, “to make easy.”
