Power of Prayer - The Most Valuable Dialogue of Your Life
It’s the most powerful weapon on Earth. It can turn the impossible to the possible in a matter of seconds. Yet, few people even Christians seem to take advantage of this free, priceless commodity. The name of this mighty weapon you may ask? Prayer: The act of conversing with God; the intercourse of the soul with God, not in contemplation or meditation, but in direct address to him. If it’s not the constant bombardment of the media focusing only on negativity, it’s the monotony of our daily life which causes many to forget this simple task at our fingertips.

Failure Is Never As Painful As Regret!
Failing at something and getting back up is much less painful than to look back and regret not doing something (or doing something) and not being able to go back and change the outcome.

The Traitor Within
Life is like an obstacle course in which we run like an Olympian athlete and at times getting nowhere.

The Great Battleground
The inescapable fact of the matter is that by ourselves, we cannot do what is right. We just do not make the grade. Knowing the rules whether they are golden or silver, do not make us able to obey them. We keep on falling into a trap called sin.

Authentic Prayers
We diminish the integrity of our prayers when we foolishly attempt to use God as a means of straightening out the mess we, ourselves, have created. Getting yourself in debt and begging God to get you out from under is not praying. Mumbling words to Him when your back is against the wall is not praying.

Undercover Investigation
It is important and necessary that we regularly spend time in purposeful self-examination. We need to take the time to examine our rationales, our pretenses, our masquerades, our motives, our justifications, and our reasoning.

There is a natural tendency to associate spirituality with religion, but they are very different. Religion is an organized system of beliefs and spirituality is finding your authentic self.

God Became Man
The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. --JOHN 1:14
For thirty-three years Jesus felt everything you and I have ever felt. To think of Jesus in such a light is—well, it seems almost irreverent, doesn’t it? It’s not something we like to do; it’s uncomfortable. It is much easier to keep the humanity out of the incarnation. There is something about keeping Him divine that keeps Him distant, packed, predictable. But don’t do it. For heaven’s sake, don’t. Let Him be as human as He intended to be. Let Him into the mire and muck of our world. For only if we let Him in can He pull us out. Listen to Him.

What Does Jesus Expect?
While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. --ROMANS 5:8
Expectations create conditional love. “I love you, but I’ll love you more if.” Now I know what you’re thinking. Shouldn’t we expect the best out of one another? Shouldn’t we encourage each other to strive for excellence and never settle for anything else? Absolutely. But it was Christ who taught us how to use expectations. Does He demand a lot? You better believe it. Does He expect much? Only our best. Does He have expectations? Just that we leave everything, deny all, and follow Him. The difference? Jesus’ expectations were accompanied by forgiveness and acceptance.

The Big Choice
The Big Choice
“Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in and eat with you, and you will eat with me.”
REVELATION 3:20, NCV
Jesus gives this invitation. To know God is to receive His invitation. Not just to hear it, not just to study it, not just to acknowledge it, but to receive it. It is possible to learn much about God’s invitation and never respond to it personally.
Yet His invitation is clear and nonnegotiable. He gives all and we give Him all. Simple and absolute. He is clear in what He asks and clear in what He offers. The choice is up to us.

An Open Invitation
An Open Invitation
“All you who are thirsty, come and drink.”
ISAIAH 55:1, NCV
The most incredible invitations are not found in envelopes; they are found in the Bible. You can’t read about God without finding Him issuing invitations. He invited Eve to marry Adam, the animals to enter the ark, David to be king, Israel to leave bondage, Nehemiah to rebuild Jerusalem. God is an inviting God. He invited Mary to birth His Son, the disciples to fish for men, the adulterous woman to start over, and Thomas to touch His wounds. God is the King who prepares the place, sets the table, and invites His subjects to come in. In fact, it seems His favorite word is come.

Trust Jesus (and Stress and Fear will Disappear)
The weight of the world had decided to settle on my shoulders. The car insurance was due and I simply did not have it. The cable went out on Wednesday, and I love Law & Order but had to miss it because regular television doesn’t work without cable in my area. The final straw came when the Student Loan people called and demanded I send a payment. I couldn’t handle it anymore. Not by myself, I couldn’t. So, I called on God for assistance...

Spiritual Inspiration Music and The New Age
Spiritual Inspiration Music and Psychological Development go hand in hand. They rely on each other to teach us new things about ourselves. They involve us through the vibrations we feel at a cellular level. These vibrations open us up to ourselves, and let us feel ourselves at a deeper level. They help us identify what is ours to bear and to express.

Home Water Fountains and Waterfalls: A Multi-Sensory Approach to Reducing Stress
From the moment we wake to the moment we fall asleep at night, our ears and brains are required to deal with a multitude of low frequency sounds that drain the brain of energy and cause stress. Noise may not be the sole cause of the stress and other health issues we experience, but it is most certainly one source. The good news is that we can reduce, and even reverse, the negative effects that noise has on our brains and bodies through regular exposure to the higher frequency sounds found in nature. When we can't go out into nature regularly, home water fountains and waterfalls are often a preferred source for nature sounds because they offer a multi-sensory stress-relieving experience that sound machines and audio recordings are unable to provide.
