One cannot ask why bad things happen to good people without also feeling the same tinge of injustice when we contemplate why good things happen to bad people. This is the question that anguished the Psalmist. He found himself in terrible distress and agony of soul.

Sometimes in our dreams we are visited by a stranger, some ominous personality that we do not recognize and we do not know if this is a good stranger or a not so good stranger. Limiting beliefs, just like positive, empowering thoughts, provide a foundation for our experiences and what we demonstrate. Old beliefs can leave us behind – and are often stale, lingering ideas left-over from our childhood experiences or from other areas of life that no longer carry any useful meaning. Abandoning negative assumptions about lack opens room to develop an abundant mindset. We can do that by setting a new mental equivalent that resets the dial on our trust channel – the channel we listen to that tells us to trust that we already have everything. A belief system must change in order to create a new reality.

If it rained money and you each put pots out to catch it, would yours be likely to hold the half inch or so that was predicted to fall and theirs overflow? How could it happen that way? The money energy falls equally on each of you just as rain would and your opportunity to stand in the flow of money is equal as well.

The problems associated with stress and anxiety continue to run rampant. Crime, alcoholism, suicide, obesity, heart disease, drug abuse -- the list goes on and on -- can at least to some extent be traced back to the effects of stress and anxiety on individuals and communities. Unless we begin to tame the stress and anxiety beasts that exist in our own lives we cannot hope to begin to control the larger societal issues that these two killer syndromes enflame.
